On 26 April 1688, Thomas Battman entered into a lease for a close in Upton Cheyney in the parish of Bitton, Gloucestershire, and two parcels of land in Micklemead. Thomas was Christened on 31st December 1656 in Bitton, Gloucestershire to Samuell Batman father.
